Hard to pinpoint exactly what worked here but it certainly worked. Thoroughly enjoyed the exaggerated nature of this cast of characters. 

I appreciated how “obvious” this movie felt — in the sense that each characters pov and desires and motives were obvious to the viewer, despite the world itself because rather peculiar.

New York’s hottest club is Lisztomania. This club has everything: zombie nazi with a machine gun made out of an electric guitar, flamboyant vampire classical musician who is dressed like an early 00’s a Disney Cheetah Girl, one of the Beatles cast as the Pope, and a penis guillotine, 

This movie is truly a sum of its parts.

Forget about her mispronunciation of “Pfresno”, can we discuss the fact that the street was NOT a cul-de-sac? I lost brain cells watching this movie and frankly I’m all the better for it.  There is no limit to how many more instances of “hånds” I would have tolerated, too. 

Brownie point for the Buc-ee’s shorts in the final scene. 

Also how does this have less than one thousand watches??

I have never been so captivated by a movie. My only request would be more John Lithgow. And less Matt Damon. But truly phenomenal.
