the kind of movie that wants to be deep but nothing really happens ..? it stays on the surface and doesn’t managed to arouse emotions. I found the shots a bit boring as well.
Kieran’s acting is great even though I feel like he’s just being his real self in this movie (same for Jesse)

I’ve never seen a documentary like this before! The footage from Timothy Treadwell’s camera offer some very close-up images of wild animals, which I loved.
Regarding the man himself, I feel a mix of respect, fascination and irritation towards the outcast that was Timothy Treadwell. Ironically, the man who claimed to love and know better than anyone else grizzly bears broke the sensible rule of not invading the large predators’ territories, which cost him his life.
