  Like all Eggers' films so far this is a technical masterpiece. Use of light and shadow is so, so good. Production design is incredible down to wallpaper and lacey shrouds on wood stoves. All the performances are great and I think it's aware of how borderline goofy it is at appropriate times. Nicholas Hoult has the opposite of iPhone face. Regency face?
