Wicked 2024
this rekindled a love for choir. the harmonies and music were great, the set/background design was gorgeous. the costumes were also so good and very telling of all the characters. sad that they part 1 & part 2'd it but alas. Cynthia Erivo was excellent. i saw some stuff about how Ariana Grande has gotten more praise than Cynthia Erivo, which I feel is equal parts microaggression and the parts they play with the understated Elphaba and overstated Galinda.
