    The Remarkable Life of Ibelin

    I feel as though assigning a star rating to this feels wrong.

    This is a deeply affecting documentary about one person and the found family, romance, and purpose the digital world can bring. The animated bits make it stand out in the way it tells the story. I'm also pleased to see that Mats was shown in all lights and not just with his best side.

    Stay away from this film if you have slight issues with mortality when it comes to familial leanings. 

    Relic is a great metaphor and I will leave it at that. If you want tension and a brooding atmosphere you will find it here. The largest criticism I can levy comes from the concept of turning aging into a monster. The elderly aren’t monsters all of the time and this film thankfully only dabbles with this idea rather than drowning in it.
