  i’m at a complete loss for words. jesus. this movie is incredible, perhaps even perfect. there’s so much that can be learned through the stories of angus, mr hunman, and mary. there is such a deep melancholy to this story and yet, it’s a hopeful and warm film. it feels familiar. 
  the director said that holdovers isn’t a christmas move and he’s absolutely right. it’s so much more.
  i think i’ll be thinking about this one for a very long time.
