The black romance movie marathon continues!
Let me start off by saying — I always have such an appreciation for film that can accurately capture deeply flawed & complex people/situations and STILL make them likable. Especially as an entirely black cast in the late 90s.
Now that we’ve got that out of the way… Everyone was awful. Horrible morals. All of them. I rooted for no one the entire way through and wanted to see each of them fail. I laughed though. I smiled. I kept watching and I wanted to understand.
Can I learn all of my life lessons through film please?
