The Shining 1980
STUNNING, gripping, and terrifying. Absolutely chilling. Cinematography was so gorgeous it was as breathtaking as the horrors. Wardobe was giving me heart palpitations it was so good. Shelley looked incredible and captured Wendy in a very precious way. Insert title cards were perfection. Why Tony live in his mouth??? Fuck Jack Torrance 🖕🏽

Wowwwwwwww. I’m just really happy I had the pleasure of seeing the theatrical release of a Fujimoto creation. I feel so blessed to enjoy my niche interests on a grand scale. That’s awesome.
I ultimately believe this works best in the original manga medium. This was faithfully adapted to a T, but the pacing, the gut punching moments, the slow slices didn’t totally captivate me like they did when read.
I also thought the score was ass cheeks haha anytime…
