The one thing that I think sums it up is after the movie I said I went into that not really knowing anything about Bob Dylan and my dad responded well you’re leaving the movie and you still know nothing. And that’s the beauty of it - it doesn’t try to explain anything too deeply, you just go on this 4 year journey with the characters. That only works if there are performances that can carry the movie and luckily this does.
