This was cute and the animation was great. Kind of refreshing to have a movie without any people at all?? Especially considering how chaotic humans can be. I liked this and there’s definitely some important meanings on life that you can extract from it. Extra points for the capybara.
This was quite something; the film definitely took sibling rivalry to a whole other level. I can’t imagine going to such great lengths simply out of spite. WTHHHH DID I JUST WATCH the acting was great and I completely see why/am glad that Demi Moore won that Golden Globe. I also understand that it’s intended to be a commentary on topics such as ageism and beauty standards, which I respect and do indeed think the film executed successfully. Ok, I really liked this. I expected to, but I liked it even more than anticipated. The acting, singing, choreography, set design, and overall portrayal of Elphaba’s origin story was super engaging for me. One aspect of the film I liked the most was that despite being almost 3 hours long and only for the first part, I felt like it didn’t drag at all. And I respected that a lot.
