wow i can appreciate this film so much more now than i did in high school. perfectly encapsulates the human conundrum by acting as a mirror - exposing the audience to their own fragile morality.

i couldn’t finish this and lowkey i hated it. all the science was nonsensical metaphorical bullshit based off a third grade level understanding of space and agriculture. and there is absolutely no subtlety throughout the movie, and i am concerned for all adults who watch this and don’t see the twists coming. extra half star because some of it was pretty and i feel bad for not finishing.
