  Went to the fridge to get MY sweet treat and dad had eaten it. Pissed off for the rest of the movie.

  A sweet sentiment with good intentions but sometimes felt a bit insincere & a lot of the acts of love were quite orchestrated for the cameras. Felt like the spotlight was on the son (director) for the kind things he was doing for his dad rather than the progress of the dad in rediscovering his love of life which was literally the whole point.
