  It was a good movie. But I watched Memories of murder a week before and I put it on a pedestal. 

  
  
  

   I know they’re both completely different genres. 
  One being a mystery crime movie and the other a sci-fi blockbuster. But coming from Bong Joon-Ho, I was expecting more character development in this movie. Which felt more one dimensional.

  This movie woke up my inner tween self and I love it. 

  With the lack of comedy genre these days, I find it refreshing that Bottoms gives that early 2000s high school rom com vibe.
