Possibly the scariest film I’ve ever seen. Extra points for fat Marlon Brando noodling around in the last 25 mins.

Is it what I expected - no
Is it epic - sort of but not really
It is good - yes

Eerie, strange, intimate. It feels like the moments of a dream between the start and end, the moments you forget, but the essential grounding firmament that lingers. It’s gorgeously shot, enormous wide vistas, glacially slow zooms, close ups that hold for just long enough. 

The Green Knight is treatise in coming to terms with reality, with disappointment, and the realisation that your quest for meaning is pointless.

Eyes, looks, glances and gaze. The film holds and lingers so intensely it’s impossible to look away.
