Anora 2024
Watched this a month ago and forgot to log but now Anora won a bunch of Oscar’s so I’m back to do spring cleaning. I really love Sean Baker’s films but am always wondering wtf Sean baker has to do with the stories he chooses to tell. Maybe he thinks he’s Igor. This film was playful and funny and I am really glad it reached for more towards the end. To watch a Sean baker film and not check in and have a single moment like that would be kinda concerning.
