A very empty film that spells out what is going on like when miles teller says “they chose me because I was expendable , I don’t have anyone waiting for me “ or something like that. Like no shit dude, but why not let us just make that inference instead of spelling it out. It’s not that crazy of a conclusion to draw. Their romance is random and forced. Weird reference to a queens gambit bit where Anya is good…

If I could give this less I would. It’s a torturous movie wit the worst dialogue. Two dimensional character arch. It was trying to give big Lebowski but failed at every turn. This movie is like one of those videos that’s like “this is what English sounds like to people who don’t speak it” and you listen and it sounds like English but when you tune in, you realize they are speaking nonsense. I kept loosing the plot even though I was desperately trying to pay attention. For the first time in my life I looked forward to leaving the theatre to use the bathroom.
