Right from the start, I noticed that Davina is very much like me - she doesn't fit in with others and tends to keep to herself, wrapped up in her own thoughts and interests.
But we also see her more childlike, innocent side. She believes in unicorns, which for me symbolise innocence, especially since she’s just turned 16.

GOD I LOVED THIS MOVIE SO MUCH. i absolutely loved the cinematography, the camera work and acting all together. The portray of grief and acceptance of losing a loved one was quite nice, I’m surprised this movie is old as it definitely has a more recent vibe to it?? Takes elements of a stereotypical 80’s slasher film with its own twist
