  Overall an enjoyable film.  I appreciate that this film went in a different direction than the first, by completely shaking up the setting.  A couple of criticisms I have with this:  the film is a little too long and the green screen is really rough.  Other than that it is a welcome entry in the Predator franchise.

  Solid action film.  The special effects haven’t aged every well, but as a whole the movie holds up.

  Overall the film was a drag.  Bad acting across the board, lame story, poor writing.  You don’t need to mention the name of the town 15 times in the first five minutes of the film, we get it.  I feel like the only people giving this even decent ratings are locals that get off on seeing their hometown represented in a “film”.

  What if It Follows was made in the mid-2000’s?  You would get Smile.  Overly reliant on jump scares, predictable ending, and a mediocre plot all create a disappointing film.
