Really good. I love surrealism and body horror so this was already up my alley but it does both those things particularly well. Also a very unique and original movie which is super refreshing to see these days.

Definitely could've trimmed some fat to cut down the run time though. There's too many montages and they tend to go on for longer than they need to, especially the last one towards the end. Also, while I get that it was necessary to some degree for the satire to play, the sexualization of Margaret Qualley was a bit excessive which undermined part of the message somewhat.

Immediately one of my favourite movies of all time. The opening scene immediately immersed me and the movie held my attention consistently until the end which is especially impressive considering the nearly 3hrs 40 minute run time.

It was alright. Had some cool shots like the shadow hands and the approach to the castle. Orlok's voice was really cool and Willem Dafoe was super fun to watch as always. That's about it for positives though.

The movie starts immediately at full intensity which cheapens the horror since there's nowhere for tension to build to. The movie makes the same mistake on a smaller scale for individual scenes regularly, it just doesn't seem to know when to be…

Solid movie. Some questionable messaging and a somewhat underdeveloped deuteragonist but overall entertaining and well structured. Strong performances from all the main actors, especially Jack Lemmon.
