  I cried from beginning to end at the complexity, love, disgust, hatred, yearning, and all the emotions depicted and that seep through each image and the commentary. The story of a parent who can't let go of the hope to somehow "save" or "fix" their child resonates deep within me and with my own experience. I felt loved, hurt, trusted, accepted, rejected all at once and it left me broken and also deeply cared for. This movie is such an important, tender and rough piece of life.
