this film is so problematic. like SO problematic. I thought this would be a nice film to watch with my younger brother but it was the exact opposite?! my brother happens fo he adopted and the way this film discusses that topic is incredibly harmful and toxic? It ended up really upsetting him and honestly did so much damage that my parents had to have a discussion with him about the film to talk through everything bc of how much it hurt him ... pLs don’t watch this if you have a child/sibling who happens to be adopted :(
