Saw a mutual on here say years ago that "it's not as impactfull on the second watch" — I agree. But don't get that twisted with it's not still heartbreaking, well crafted, and entertaining..It's just natural that after you know the "big twist" (that wrecked my heart) that it's not gonna hit the same.

    What a disappointing watch.

When I say I've been looking for this film for years I mean it. But the goofy dialog, and equally so performances just makes if completely fail at it's attempt to be self aware and deliver the obvious crique on consumerism and socal classes.

Damn. O well at least it's ticked off the ol' bucket list

In the most inconspicuous way imaginable, Bresson delivers a soft-textured, soft-spoken poem of a film that completely transcended my expectations.

But for the first bit of it, though, I wasn't feeling as affected by it as all that. In fact, the sensitivity of the emotions, and full pactness of the story was a bit staggering to me. But as time whent by, and the beauty started to really set in, I wished it would never end. I loved how uncartoonish…
