Ok so I read American Dirt, snapshot of escaping a Cartel vendetta. I learned something from the comfortable seat of an American female I read the paper, see the news the influx of people fleeing an impossible situation, our borders brimming. I sit comfortably, so sad, oh dear. Then I see this movie, well done, docudrama based on true events. This is heart wrenching in that it's cadence of plot brings you measure by measure through a perilous journey that keeps you guessing at redemption. I recommend this film as it delivers the slice I needed in understanding who's knocking, pleading at our doors
