Not thought-provoking at all; there is nothing in this film that we didn’t already know or that hadn’t been said before. The bluntness of the script did not help its case. Lines on politics and the revolution sound like they came from a position paper.
The best part about this film is Marian Rivera screaming in despair, “Kasalanan mo ‘to!”, to the vault. She could’ve just given it up, made money off it, but she chose to run away and protect it. There is something about this scene that speaks volumes about how our principles guide our decisions in times of vulnerability.
