Not rating movies for the time being
Two things have become clear to me:
1) Practically no one in my generation (Z) is aware this movie exists, despite a majority of them having at least heard of FRIENDS.
2) This is a fairly accessible and unique blend of chick flick, indie, and avante-guarde that I really don’t think could be pulled off again.
Thus exists a hidden gem my wife and parents enjoy. And it seems that we are the only ones that will ever know about it.

Primer is something special. A lot of films today are more focused around the budget. The effects. The cast. Primer has none of that. This is the textbook example of bare bones film making.
And that's where my appreciation lies for the most part. The passion. Carruth takes no easy way out to this film. It is a project of complete creativity and control that invokes a strong sense of inspiration…
