  Well is it another biopic with Adrien Brody? No, but does it feel like yet another biopic with Adrien Brody? Yeah kinda.

  And does it feel like a first movie where the director put too much in to impress? Sure does.

  Don't get me wrong I like when there is a lot of ambition in a project, but I felt like the end product was not on par with the bazillion of ideas put in it. Anyway my experience in a nutshell : a 4 hours overcomplicated bore that is trying to reivented the wheel but succeeds only in eyerolling me into a nap.

  Wow, take the most overused genre of movies, the Christmas movie, turn it upside down and make it an impressionist piece about the gut feeling that this holiday is, and you get to experience cinema in a way that you did not expect you could. This film is an abstract painting, in the best of ways.
