There are some very beautiful frames in this. I think it's interesting that Linus Sandgren has filmed multiple of my least favorite movies, yet they all look incredible.
Why didn't his father have eyebrows?
This was a lot of fun at moments, but I also felt like I disagreed with the films decisions of focus and regard for the characters. Anora felt like a driving force for the story, but left almost entirely unexplored. I didn't learn much about Anora along the way, nor did I learn much about Ivan or anyone else. The story had fun moments, but didn't leave me with anything to think about.
