Wow. What a thrilling experience of a movie. When I first heard that Christopher Nolan was directing a World War II film, I knew he would astound us with a different take on an already saturated genre. DUNKIRK is exactly that.

One star for set design, costumes, and production value. I really enjoyed the space station and space suits. The bar was a really cool set too.
One star for interesting base-plot. I really enjoyed the whole Chris Pratt dilema, but don't think it merited a whole movie. Once the space ship started breaking down, the story hit every cookie-cutter space trope that I could imagine, and it was so annoying.
