  Most of the scenes in the first 40 mins or so are really painful to watch, even for a z movie. The cringe dies down to more manageable level once the action picks up, and I'm really glad I stuck through with it even if it was only for the extreme, gory kills. Also the way the other historical figures come out later on like it's Bill and Ted. I think if I was drunk I would've enjoyed this a lot more.

  I do love how the metal riffs only play when the killer is on screen. A nice gimmick that doesn't get old.

  Way too slow. Way too many biking scenes with bluegrass/country guitar that starts to grate on your ears after you hear the same motif for the 10th time. Is this really what people wanted to see in the 70s?
  That being said, when it gets brutal, it gets brutal.
