  The effects were great, but the pacing felt off at times. Character motivations weren't fully explained or explored, and at the end of it I found myself wondering what the director was trying to say. Not a bad movie, but definitely a bit darker and grittier than the main SW movies. 
  I think it suffers a bit because it has to be so constrained. 
  Lots of callbacks. Fans will love it. And the best non-Jedi battle scenes of any Star Wars movie.

  One of the best Marvel films to date, and my daughter's new favorite. Didn't feel anywhere near as long as it was. 4.5 stars because of one thing the movie sort of promises to show, and then it happens off-stage. Other than that, loved it.
