this is one of the few movies where the hype is actual real. probably an overstatement at this point, but the ending is so heart wrenching and intimate- 10/10 performances from Mikey Madison and Yuriy Borisov.

had a conversation with my frienf about this film and she mentioned that the scene that solidified to her that this was directed by a woman was the scene where elisabeth stands in front of the mirror, beautiful and elegant and amazing- and stares. And ultimately does not like what she finds and ruins her makeup, her hair- she breaks down. And she’s right. Coralie Fargeat excels in pulling in her target audience.

This film is a complete and utter masterpiece. In my honest opinion, there was never a point in the movie where the story was stalled.
