Florence Pugh's monologue about Almut's fear of leaving the world behind without anything to show for it, and her desire to compete in the Bocuse d'Or cooking competition smacked me so hard. I actually felt like I was choking with like two big whiffs of this crazy breathtaking feeling. I’d watch again for that alone.
Up there with Matthew in Interstellar and Irving in severance saying yeah do it Seth
Oh wow I’m so glad I sat around an extra 30 minutes in the middle of the movie to watch the drama Queen dwarf have an internal battle with mountain madness just so that they could add 10 whole dwarves to the battle against the orca which is supposed to change the tide of the whole thing. And his apology wasn’t an apology???
I also don’t understand all the races and peoples strengths and weaknesses. Hobbit was better than LOTR but not by much. Both were pretty much shite stories. I’m sorry if you like these films. I just don’t get it.
I’m not differentiating these because they really don’t deserve that. I feel the need to give it two simply because it does seem to represent an earlier version of the total world building that later really great series are kind of built on. So respect for the world building.
