  saw this at an early screening with Flying Lotus, Aaron Paul, and Eiza González. the story is somewhat standard sci-fi fare but it’s told in a really neat way, with some trippy visuals and truly gnarly effects. a fun time at the movies!

  I’ve been on an Armando Iannucci kick lately so I decided to give this a rewatch and… I don’t think this really has the energy and punch of The Thick of It or In the Loop or even Veep. it’s got a great cast and some fun ideas, but idk it just doesn’t really hit for me. kind of a crime we haven’t gotten Steve Buscemi in another Iannucci project
