The Tree of Life 2011
thought i was watching the wrong version of the film, it literally made no sense at all, no clue how anyone understood this, it's just a randomly selection of visuals of universe, dinosaurs and sean penn looking a bit grumpy, with the occasionally incoherent line about family or something. got bored 5 minutes in once i realised it was just a compilation of pretty nice looking visuals or the most random stuff. it baffles me still how someone actually enjoyed this? i was looking forward to it too.
