  13 yr old me would’ve been giggling and kicking her feet watching this. as it is, it’s weird about black people, but i was giggling and kicking my feet and rewinding like thirteen times for every scene they flirted and he just LOOKED AT HER. almost two hrs long but didn’t feel like it- just the right pace and right amount of seriousness. i don’t rlly care abt the slurs!! they love each other!!!!! she’s so weird and off putting and he’s such a freak!!
