It reminded me of a superhero "anti"hero movie. I kept expecting Dev Patel's character to become Batman.
There was some fun cinematography. And the story was gripping. But it felt heavily editorialized. We sure know Patel's view on India's modern politics now.

This line is the crux of the movie Into the Wild. Chris tried so hard to flee society--the people that had hurt him; and in doing so, realized that the people he met along the way made his adventures that much more memorable.
