generally … as an absolute wh*re for any film this man directs ... I … felt it fall incredibly short. maybe it’s because I don’t care for a period piece centred around English royalty (alike many kingdom matters, unless to tear them apart — fucks sake. lol.) or because this isn’t a “political thriller” (???) nor was the scriptwriting as satirical as anticipated….anyway. great direction, great costume and set design, but anticlimactic and dragged out plot — I fell asleep.
