The University Library collection includes a huge range of print books, ebooks and journals, subscribed academic content, practitioner databases, streaming services, primary source material and print and digital archives. You can find what you need through Library Search.
There are four separate libraries, operating on generous opening hours.
We provide a range of learning spaces for you to read, think, write, collaborate and learn. Our Libraries have full WiFi coverage and provide PCs, printers, scanners and copiers.
You can access a comprehensive range of help and support through the menu links, but if you can't find the information you can contact Ask4Help, or you can email the library directly.
Ask4Help are available 24/7 during term-time to give advice and guidance.
You can contact Ask4Help through your Student Portal, by phone on 0191 227 4646 or in person at any Student Central location for support and advice on a wide range of services and support including library, skills, jobs, careers, student finance, counselling, immigration, disability, accommodation, starting your own business and more.
