Creating alerts is a good way to stay up-to-date with the latest articles or journals in your area of research.
Library Search
Library Search allows you to save the searches you perform using the drawing pin icon. These saved searches can be combined with email alerts to inform you of new articles that meet your saved search criteria. Creating alerts saves time and helps you to avoid repeating searches, although it is advisable to only use good searches to avoid self-inflicted junk being sent to you.
JournalTOCs Table of Contents Service
The JournalTOCs Tables of Contents service allows you to keep up-to-date with newly published journals by enabling you to find, display and store journal tables of contents from multiple publishers.
This service is freely available – it just requires registration with a username and password. It enables you to store the details of journals that are of interest for your research, and be able to check back on new content the journals have published. Go to www.journaltocs.ac.uk and sign up for this service.
