So I finished Natlan yesterday and I have thoughts. I’m just…. not gonna think about it for a while. To gather myself.
God I had such hope for Natlan’s story. But I started the update, and It’s all going down hill, man.
Random question but what is your honest opinion of an mpreg Chiluc fanfiction?
I mean. I have nothing against mpreg. But like. It’s one of those things I simply don’t get. I love it as a joke. Like “mpreg is always possible” is super funny to me.
But I personally don’t enjoy it in my fanfic. I don’t like A/B/O dynamics cause I simply can understand how a healthy relationship could form it.
Personally, while my fanfic taste is pretty limited, I never judge or long anything against someone who writes even Dead Dove content. as long as it’s tagged proper. Cause it’s fantasy space. And as long as you are respectful and do your due diligence in warning people about the content, it’s fine. Writing and reading are one of the few things I am heavily in favor of no restrictions on because even something poorly written or something written in hate has a strange value to it.
I literally have “Read Banned Books” and “Stand with the Banned” Stickers on nearly everything I own.
So Yeah.
I’m fine with chiluc mpreg but have no personal interest in it.
I was looking at my activity and saw this post and I laughed because this was Pre-Kai-writes-a-paper-on-the-trans-experience-in-fan fiction and my opinion on mpreg and Actually the omegaverse has changed quite a bit.
I mean, I still don’t read it, and it’s not exactly my taste in fanfiction, but now I have a sort of reverences for it as an expression of the trans experience. It’s a normalization of a male body being pregnant. Like a Trans male, body can become pregnant and while Mpreg is still kind of a fringe thing the more popular it becomes the more normalized it becomes. And with that comes the normalization of Trans Men being MEN who can be pregnant.
So I “get” mpreg now and don’t find it as funny. At least in a certain regard. I did have to read an academic paper about Omegaverse Hannibal Fanfiction for that, though.
A friend sent me a TikTok and Now I’m thinking about writing a fic that’s just Dick and Jason doing a podcast. We were robin not getting more Nightwing and Jaybin.
Thinking about Minecraft super build stream Diluc who used to be a super serious and competitive shooting game stream. And people keep wondering like is this the game guy? Like he used to fuck shit up, and now he’s just patiently building in minecraft? No, it can’t be the same.
It 100% is and Diluc just got tired of being competitive. Now he just wants to build things and talk about birds.
When I said I was bad about updating stuff I meant it. This thing I 10 chapters long and almost finished.
I wrote a little Dick and Jason being brothers thing, and I’ve gotten really bad about updating when I’ve written stuff here
