I think it falls into some typical Gacha game issues. One being what I call the “waifu lean” by which I mean it leans too much in to pretty female characters. The exception to this (regarding their female characters) are Tooth Fairy and TTT as those two have fascinating design twists. TTT more so, but I love Tooth fairy’s braces. Honestly, of the 6 stars I love A Knight’s design the best, and then you have Pickles and Sputnik. I just wish the game would lean more into those fun twists rather than more pretty anime women. I do also adore Zima and Click with my whole being, and I’m waiting on a J or Getian rerun.
It is more visual novel and while i find the story interesting so far. Not really sold on the Human are logic are arcanist and emotional thing. I feel like they could worked with that better and play more into the theme of humans wanting logical reason while arcanist are drawing to chaos or something. IDK a lot of the time for arcanist supposing to be the crazy emotional ones too many characters feel very reasonable. I also just might not be far enough into the story.
I do enjoy it a lot those. It’s a good little side thing to play .
What other fandoms are you in? Any Anime or Games that you like?
Well, honestly, I have a distant relationship with Fandom. I tend to just carve out my little niches.
I think part of that I’m a BIG O COMICS FAN. And the is a rough fandom that I don’t like interacting with because I don’t think it’s enough of talking about the *art* of comic making and more about how your fave is better than everyone else. Minus 10 points if your favorite is Batman and you think Batman could be everyone. With that, you may have noticed I’m a Big Jason Todd reader. And while I’m staying away from main line continuity right now, I just picked up Robin Lives #2.
But Also I need to pick up the second volume of My Favorite Thing is Monsters (Please please ask me about this comic it’s so good)
Anime wise, I haven’t kept up today. I watched first season of Demon slayer. But that’s about as recent as I got. I do really love the classic though Sailor Moon (And a lot of magical girl stuff), Space Pirate Captain Harlock (mostly anything Leiji Matsumoto but Harlock was is a special interest of mine Like I hunted SSX and I own a DVD of the 97 series as well has having the ZIV dub) and Black Jack are the things I can think off the top of my head.
Games I’ve been playing a tone of Coral Island recently. By that, It shouldn’t be a surprise, I’ve played a lot of (modded) Stardew and Animal Crossing. But If you to really get me going, any Supergiant Games Game. Particularly Hades and Pyre. Pyre is one of those games I can’t recommend… Because it feels specifically made for me with 1) an amazing story and 2) 3 on 3 basketball. That bit’s not a joke. That’s actually gameplay. And I’m not playing Hades 2 yet because Supergaint’s Stories are so good. I’m happy with just waiting for the full release.
So I’m sure people have heard about the Hoyo’s blunt racism by now. And I did make a not of this on the update last Friday, seems there really hasn’t any word of delay to fix this. I really don’t want to post any fan work of Hoyo at this time, because in some ways it feels like support. Specially since I’m focused on Diluc and Childe and the attention should be on the Natlan characters and how gross this is.
So here is the plan moving for now. I’m not gonna updated today. I’m going to edit everything I have left for The Home Handmade, all the last 10 Chapters, and just post it all at once. So while it might edit up worst with the grammar and editing because of the rush, you guys get the story! And I don’t have to post anything about Genshin! Is this right? IDK man, but It feels right to me. I’m pretty morally ridged, and the second something like this happens, a lot of the love I feel towards Genshin turns right off. Which ya know fucking suck, but I’m gonna hold out a little more hope. Pray they listen.
But until then. Uuuuh that might be it from me. I still had some things I was working on (mostly an angsty Rag Bro thing) But that’s obviously on hold.
I’ll still be here, man. I’ll still take Diluc questions (BTW the way Duke and Lady are now Canon because FUCK YOU) But I’ll here maybe talk about comics a little more.

And of course it's from someone who has a positive view on Kaeya. 😒
I bet if it was reversed people would be defending Kaeya (people are mostly defending him anyways because he's good looking, why is diluc considered the ugly sibling? There's nothing ugly about him)
(Also, I don't know anything about DC, but your Jason Todd / Batman post are interesting to read through. Who do you think in the Bat family would get along well with diluc?)
So I personally have a habit of when I feel my opinion is too negative towards a character…. I don’t tag the post. Because it’s not a post for fans of that characters. And I’m not trying to give anyone shit for like that character or thinking otherwise.
But it is what it is, and some people have trouble drawing lines like that. I have a lot of thought about fanon vs. canon and might type them out one day, but that’s not today.
Diluc gets called ugly because, well, he’s a bit bug eyed. And his model has aged more poorly than the other as Hoyo’s designs have evolved. Do I think he’s ugly? Hell no. that’s my baby baby boy!
Another thing I find a lot of the bad takes on Diluc also come form bad takes on Kaeya. They really like babying him and really objectifying him like he’s not a complex character who realized he hurt someone he cared about and takes ownership of that mistake.
Now for me to go a bit Rabid. Jason Todd is a special interest of mine. And boy if I had a nickle for every time I’ve obsessed over a fictional character associated with birds and the color who has a more popular sibling associated with birds and the color blue and who is often mischaracterized as an angry asshole I’d have two nickles which isn’t a lot but weird it happened twice.
As for BatFamily Diluc would get along with. For starters Jason. I think Diluc would see their similarities, but realized Jason doesn’t really get that support that Diluc does. So Diluc being Diluc. Would take it upon himself. Would Jason like this? Eeheheheh he’d be the dramatic little shit he always is but Diluc would definitely take it in stride.
Tim would probably be the one who Diluc would really get alone with. Like in the same vein of how I think Albedo and Diluc get along. I haven’t read a lot of Tim. But they both are people born in the upper class who have the easiest route of all but are choice to take the hard way to do what they think is right and know to help people. I don’t know as much about Tim, but I can see him and Diluc have really deep intellectual debate and just be very stimulating for each other without being frustrating.
Damian would be another one. But he’d be in the same boat as Jason. Diluc see’s a kid who’s struggling not totally getting the support he might need and is trying to learn. Trying to be better. So again Diluc would look out for him even if Damian doesn’t like it (read the boy wonder)
Cass I think would be another good friend. Diluc is a person who can deal with silence, and I also think they be eye-opening for them. Haven’t read a ton of Cass yet, tho. She definitely could see a lot more of Diluc’s gentle side.
Dick and Kate might also be in there. But they might have a hard time with Diluc’s rougher exterior and awkwardness. Barbara and him would defiantly get a long, but I think it would take some time.
I just came across an ask about heizou and sethos and it’s funny because i just made a sethos x Heizou ship for no reason other than my self indulgence.
It makes no sense to anyone but it makes sense to me, in my head they are together and soft for each other and they have a cat and two dogs

Look. I’ve never been a person who’s had major respect for the more popular ships. I have my taste and I tends to be a rarepair person. So I will support almost any ship if it makes you enjoy it.
Thus, I ship Diluc with nearly everyone.

I think Konpeito could be a good option. It’s a simple sugar sweet and it feels like It would fit him regardless. I also see him as a sort of bread enjoyer so he’d really like any kind of sweet roll or bun.
Just while my brain is Sigewinne and Jason Todd. The best thing is I genuinely think that Jason would love Melusines. And I genuinely think a lot of them would still see him as a “child” partly because of age why he would be to them, but mostly because of his temperament. Sigewinne in particularly would absolutely play dirty with him and reserve physiology the shit out of him. Does Jason realize she’s doing this? Yes. Can he fight back? Not really. Because these are cute little people who’ve been historically treated unfairly.
