All Aboard the Diluc PainTrain

If the Robin & Batman: Jason Todd is just more of Bruce being a asshole to child who’s suffer horrific poverty and Jason gets called fucking angry and reckless again, I will bit some one’s head off. How about WE NOT demonize the impoverished child? How about that DC? How about we NOT play into the inherent classism that’s in Jason Todd’s Robin story. How about we recognize Bruce is a horribly unreliable narrator when It comes to Jason. And how he will genuinely never be able to understand Jason’s Trauma because he has never and like will never be homeless.

Like I’m not suggesting the trauma Olympics over here but Jason’s trauma is very different to Dick and Bruce’s. Yeah he could get his revenge against Two-Face for his father… But Jason wasn’t thinking about that when he became Robin… He was thinking about surviving. It’s not a core of his character like Dick and Bruce. He joins Bruce because despite how bad his situation is he still tries to do good and not rob a museum. IDK man I’m very tired of writers just glossing over that with Jason and just jump to like those two issues where Jason is violent. And then every stupid flash back of Bruce’s where again UNRELIABLE NARRATOR.

I will happily take the L if I’m just getting a huff over nothing. And this mini turns out good. But with that description I just can’t get hyped. I’m pre-ordering still… but with like a sense of dread.

My Brain is working right now because while I’ve been thinking about Eddie and Jason again. I’m thinking about a Fic Idea where they possible team up and do a demon hunting business.

Like it’s got me interested enough I think I’m gonna go back and read Eddie’s catalog.

Also Something we talk about it how Roy died in Heros in Crisis but we don’t talk about how EDDIE DID TOO. Like imagine if they kept their friendship and in one day Jason lost two of his friends.

just a little ramble I honestly write more Roy and Jason kinda just because it's a popular dynamic But I think Eddie and Jason have more potential Partly because Eddie was Jason's friend first He's got an attachment to Tim having being a titan but He was Jason's pen pal first and Roy and JAson are fun but... They are taint by new 52 and how Roy was Dick's friend first

To no one’s suprised I’ve been playing DC Dark Legion. Again to no one’s suprise im mostly playing it for Jason. And God hes any edgy stupid little shit in this, but I love him. Even if his “I feel revived” lines gets real old real fast.

(Also little funny how he get the League of assassins bonus but Damian doesn’t.)

So I got the new issue of the Zatanna Mini and with Blue Devil in it we need to bring back Eddie Bloomberg. And we need to bring back Jason and Eddie pen pals.

Like I like Roy and Jason’s friendship (As tainted as it is by New 52) BUT come ON! Give me these stupid little nerds back.

And this is sort of an excuses to tie Jason more to Justice league Dark? MAYBE. It is an excuses to get him to use the All Blades more? MAYBE

The thing I hate most about writing series is the obvious gaps where my writing skills have improved in between fics. Like I’ll be able to re-read the newer one but the older one make me cringe a little lmao.

Maybe I am just pessimistic. I have seen the Nguyen art for Jaybin but I’m still not convinced man. It’s been like year… and the last news in Jan said possible lunching in April and it’s March…. Maybe it meant announcement in April?

And I get Jeff Lemire is doing Absolute Flash but IDK man…

Yeah, DCU updates but it on twitter. But I don’t 100% trust all those source who just pull form an artist Instagram. And well It’s twitter.

I am also worried because… Well they love that angry Robin narrative. I feel a little better with Lemire’s writing but… It hasn’t been a year since Robin Lives! I’m still recovering and I can’t get my hopes up.

What a week man. Did four interviews (made it threw to the end of one and got reject) Had my first published work. Did my taxes. Cleaned. And most importantly finished the squeal to Kyle Rayner’s Complete Guide to getting a Malewife
