CARAMELISED ALMONDS😋🍬 RECIPE (5 servings, 15min prep time): -1 cup (200g) sugar -3/8 cup (100ml) water -optionally: a little cinnamon and vanilla extract Heat it up, stir and bring it to a bubble -200g almonds Stir them in and let them caramelise for 5-10mins while stirring constantly until every almond is coated with the hardened sugar. My creamy leek and miso pasta recipe
A high protein, healthy vegan pasta sauce that is oh so creamy and will be loved by everyone! Ingredients: 30g butter 110g leeks (I used baby leeks) 3-4 large cloves garlic 250g pasta (dried weight) 300g silken tofu (make sure it’s silken!!) 200ml unsweetened soy milk 1 tbsp miso 3 tbsp nutritional yeast 1 tsp garlic powder Parsley to taste S&P to taste Mix and simmer on a low heat till the sauce thickens

King Oyster Mushroom ‘Scallops’ 🍄‍🟫 by @thrivingonplants Ingredients: 4 large (400g) king oyster mushrooms ½ cup (125mL) vegetable stock 3 small pieces dried kombu 1 tbsp olive oil, for frying Sauce: 2 tbsp vegan butter 2 cloves garlic, minced 2 tbsp lemon juice Salt & pepper, to taste 2 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped Method: 1. Slice the bottom root ends and the caps/tops off the mushrooms (you can reserve the tops for something else). Slice the remainder of the white trunk into 2.5cm/1 inch thick pieces. You should get about 3-4 pieces per king oyster mushroom. Score one or both sides of the mushroom rounds in a criss cross pattern. 2. In a frypan, add in all the mushroom pieces flat down and pour in the vegetable stock and add in the kelp.
