Usually, terminate is used as a very final term. It’s got somewhat of a negative connotation to most people. As their experience with it involves losing a job or losing their Netflix subscription lolol.

Finished and ended mean the same thing when they are an intransitive verb. For example:
The episode ended with a cliffhanger.
The episode finished with a cliffhanger.
Class just finished.
Class just ended.

As a transitive verb, they are slightly different.
If you finish something, it means that you finish doing it.
I finished my assignment. I am done with it now.
I finished class. I am done with my class.
If you end something, you cause it to stop.

You can use either finished or ended to talk about the last thing you did during a period of time. For example:

Terminated means shut down or forced to end. It’s more technical than ended. It’s usually an official forced end rather than when someone casually chooses to end something, if that makes sense.

The program was terminated due to lack of funding. The program was shut down/forced to end due to lack of funding.

Suspend means that it might start again.
