Kerala Fish Curry also known as Nadan Meen Curry is a spicy, fiery fish curry recipe cooked in Kerala style with pantry staples, coconut oil, coconut milk and fresh fishes like Sardine or Mackerel. Fish Curry Kerala Style is easy to make and tastes awesome with rice.

Ingredients: 
Fish (sardines) -250gm (can use any fish ) 
For grinding 
Grated coconut-3/4 cup 
Shallots-3 
Kashmiri chilli powder-1.5 tbs 
Coriander powder-3:4 tb
Turmeric-1/2 tsp 
Add water and grind to a smooth paste 

In a pan add 
Sunflower oil -2.5 tbs ( can use coconut oil instead) 
Fenugreek seeds-1/2 tsp
Crushed ginger/garlic-2 tbs 
Sauté for few minutes 
Green chillies-2 
Shallots -6/7
Sauté well then add ground paste sauté for few more minutes then add 
Malabar tamarind-3/4 (soaked in hot water) 
Coconut milk -3/4 cup ( I used maggi coconut powder )
Add water if required 
Salt - 
Sardines-250 gms
Cover and cook for few minutes 

For tempering 
Sunflower oil -1.5 tbs 
Sliced shallots-2 
Curry leaves- few
