Body, even though it’s still horrible to be dead, is gentler sounding.

If the police came to your house to announce the death of someone you knew, body is better to hear than corpse.

When a person exits that body, or dies, they become a body. They are a body now. They don't have it anymore. Man this is a weird conversation haha. I think usually "intricately" wouldn't be used that way by itself. I think something like "working together so intricately" or "working together in such an intricate way" might be better.

Also, since you say "how my body functions" in the simple present tense, it is better to use the same tense for "every part of the body works" (instead of "is working"). Or you could also say "that every part of the body can work".
