the MOST resistance is applied when gravity is acting perpendicular to our lower leg. 🔑 

We want this point to occur when the muscle is positioned to output the most force.

⭐️In a Ball Squeeze exercise, gravity is relatively parallel to the lower leg (shown by the dotted line in the video), meaning the only resistance being applied to the hamstring is the equal and opposite force from pressing into the ball.

And this isn’t a whole lot, because our Hamstrings are SO shortened in this position, that they are unable to generate much force.
