The name "Suminokura" is derived from our commitment to Bincho charcoal and charcoal grilling. We source Iwate Na-Sai Chicken and Akita's pride Hinai Chicken as fresh as possible, never freezing them, which results in a succulent and juicy finish. Our skilled chefs carefully grill the meat over charcoal. We use 100% seawater from off the coast of the Oga Peninsula in Akita for our salt. Additionally, our special "Akita Miso" sauce is made with miso from Akita Kodama Brewing, founded in 1879, and is one of Suminokura's proud offerings. We aim to be an izakaya that locals can enjoy every day.
