its funny to remember that i initially barely gave a fuck about alec and didnt really think about him much at all besides some very preliminary "people seem. wrong? about this guy?" thoughts but then i read his death scene for the first time and cried intermittently for like 45 min to an hour (absurdly long) and was like. at dinner having to make conscious effort not to sniffle sob weep about alec vasils death. and it was over for me then. i then retroactively decided that everything he does ever is very endearing and delightful to witness. my little mister faggypants.

laughing out loud at taylor saying brian is comfortable in his own skin. also oh my god i forgot how autistic both sides of this taylor-confessing conversation are. brian isn't even autistic he just has something wrong with him. he does accurately observe that taylor describes what she likes about him in a deeply analytical way like she's checking off a list. and it's also rlly funny how much of what she likes about him is just "you're normal and functional in a way i admire"--doomed-ass relationship, given that no teenager should aspire to be like brian, and brian is torturing himself by living like that, and he'll completely crumble later on. taylor starts, like, Citing Her Evidence for why he might like her to his face. they're both just sooo. so funny.
