Swerve was part of an Autobot strike force who attacked Decepticon City on Earth. He engaged Galvatron at first when the Decepticon leader flew in to the rescue, but Rodimus convinced him to pull back in leave the fight to Optimus. Memory's Splinter After Optimus was mortally wounded by Galvatron, the Autobots abandoned their attack and fled. Restoration
Following their retreat, Swerve was among the Autobots who left for Cybertron in Sky Lynx. When their ride announced they'd have to lighten their load, Rodimus promptly dumped Optimus Prime out the nearest hatch. Swerve had no objections to Rodimus declaring himself the new leader. Notes
- Swerve uses G1 Swerve's Thrilling 30 Legends Class figure with colors based on a particular deco of Pick-Up, the Brazilian redeco of the Gears toy, from which Swerve's original Generation 1 toy was retooled - although the lime and purple colors will inevitably remind most people of the original Constructicons.
